Some of the best sand and water action in the area isn't found on the beach, but at our five championship golf courses. And with an estimated 320 days of sunshine each year and moderate year-round temperatures, there is never a bad time for golfing in Panama City Beach. Our courses include a top PGA school, rolling country club fairways, challenging water holes and more. Preferred tee times are booked quickly, so contact the golf courses directly for reservations. Most courses accept reservations up to seven days in advance.

Lagoon Legend & The Club Meadows at Bay Point Resort
Founded in 1972, Bay Point offers a choice of two semi-private courses, Lagoon Legend and The Club Meadows, as well as a practice range and two pro shops. Lagoon Legend has a course rating of 75.3 and a slope rating of 152 from its championship tees, which sets it apart as the second most challenging course in the United States, especially with water coming into play on 17 of 18 holes.

In contrast, The Club Meadows exudes pure country club ambiance and is designed for repeat play with long and narrow fairways. The slope rating is 126 from the pro tees. Yardage is 6,913 from the pro tees.

Holiday Golf Club
Located just one mile off the beach, Holiday Golf Club is a semi-private, 18-hole, par 72 championship course. This 6,600-yard course features 18 newly constructed Tif Dwarf greens that challenge even the most experienced short-game artist. The championship tees provide a course rating of 72.3 and slope rating of 130.

Hombre Golf Club
As host of PGA Qualifying Schools, The Hombre has earned a reputation as an intimidating course. Designed by Wes Burnham, this semi-private course features water on 15 of the 18 original holes and has added nine new holes. The nine new holes, named "The Good," have been added to the original holes, "The Bad" and "The Ugly."

The Hombre has a 73.4 course rating and a 136 slope rating on the original 18 holes. The "Martin Green Golf Academy" offers half day, two-, three- and five-day schools.

Signal Hill
As Panama City Beach's first golf course, Signal Hill was designed on powder white dunes. This popular course features wide-open, well-groomed fairways, forgiving roughs and large, manicured greens. This 18-hole, par 71 course has a slope rating of 100.82 with 5,617 yards from the blue tees and 5,259 yards from the red tees.
